German machine tool orders rising sharply
Orders received by the German machine tool industry rose sharply in the first quarter of 2010. Overall, orders were up 43 percent year-on-year for the period January to March. Domestic demand rose by 25 percent, whereas foreign orders increased by 54 percent.
